The Rubbertramps at Find Some Dinosaurs

We arrived to a lovely desert sunset before awakening the next moring in search of our quarry. The visitors' center here is home to an active dinosaur quarry where you can see the dinos as they are found in the cliff. The stafff of paleontologists is there to explain how the dinos ended up there.

Aside from the name and the obvious attraction. Dinosaur Nat. Mon. is home to some great exploring of the Green River Canyon. We hiked up onto the rim. as the storm clouds brewed on the other side. We looked down as the whitewater rafters cruised by and turnrd around to enjoy views of the desert below. We hoped to find a few dino bones of our own , but these turned out to belong to a deer. Perhaps the only dinos we will see are among the clouds. The desert heat had finally taken its toll on us, so we pointed the Camry north to the mountains of the rich and famous, the Grand Tetons.
