The Rubbertramps Hit The Wild West

Howdy Podhah! Now's time to saddle up and ride into Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota to looks for a home where the bison and prairie dogs roam. No shortage of dust to roll in around here. We took a couple of nice hikes through the badlands and grasslands and camped beside the Little Missouri River. We really enjoyed the wide open vistas and temptation is there to stay here and become cowpokes, we drove on past the fields of sweet clover and down route 16 into South Dakota.

We camped in Black Hills National Park where the roses and lupines were in bloom along with the wild flax. We were ready to explore a bit more, but it finally struck us that this trip is about mountains... Big Mountains...
